One of the most interesting games of round 22 was a derby match between two teams from Belgium. Sixth rankedKangoeroes won against host Leuven Bears (11-11) 77-71 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Leuven Bears. It was a great shooting night for Mechelen especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (201-2001) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Joshua Heath (186-1994, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 assists and 4 steals. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. American guard Will Pruitt (190, college: Lipscomb) produced 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import swingman Tytan Anderson (198-2002, college: UNI) added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Leuven Bears' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kangoeroes have a solid three-game winning streak. Mechelen (14-8) moved-up to fifth place. Loser Leuven Bears dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost.
